Radiation Dose Detection on FY-4B Satellite

چکیده
The radiation damage effect is relatively serious during spacecraft operation in orbit. To know the real cumulative dose orbit accurately, a detector carried on FY-4B satellite. It comprises one electric control unit and three detectors, with total of four payloads. Each includes five dose-monitoring points corresponding to different shielding thicknesses, which are mainly used for measurement depth. Three detectors same function installed X, Y Z positions can detect directions has characteristics small size, high integration low power consumption. At present, satellite have been working normally since they were started up, good preliminary detection results obtained. From power-up April 2022, maximum reached 2.7 × 103 rad(Si). We conducted analysis relationship between thickness. In addition, daily average thickness was further analyzed. These studies application value protection design.

This research project will investigate whether working memory has an impact on the responses participants provide on survey questionnaires. Working memory is a cognitive system that provides both the limited storage for relevant information and the temporary processing needed to perform ongoing mental tasks. When individuals participate in a survey, for each question presented, the participant ...
متن کاملThermal dose and radiation dose comparison based on cell survival
Background/introduction The biologic dose response curves of thermal dose and absorbed radiation dose have not been compared to each other even though they have both been extensively investigated separately and combined. Although heat and radiation produce cell kill by different biological mechanisms (Thermal dose denatures proteins and the radiation dose causes DNA damage) a comparison of dose...
متن کاملA simple and efficient method for retrieving surface UV radiation dose rate from satellite
A continual trend of ozone depletion has drawn much attention to the biologically harmful UV-B radiation from the Sun reaching the Earth’s surface. Satellite remote sensing provides a sole means of monitoring the global distribution of surface UVB. At present, there are very few inversion algorithms with sufficient accuracy and robustness for operational application. A new algorithm is proposed...
متن کاملRadiation dose to the nuclear medicine nurses
Background: People who have been administrated radiopharmaceuticals could be a source of radiation to their relatives, medical nurses, and people who are in contact with them. The aim of this work was to estimate radiation dose received by nuclear medicine nurses. Materials and Methods: In this study, the dose rates at various distances of 5 – 100 cm from 70 patients, who were administered diag...
متن کاملEstimating radiation dose from building materials
Background: Natural radioactivity in materials under certain conditions can reach the hazardous radiological levels. So, it becomes necessary to study the natural radioactivity in different materials to assess the dose for the population in order to know the health risks and to have a baseline for future changes in the environmental radioactivity due to human activities. Materials and ...
